Grievance Procedure: If you feel that you are being asked to do something that is in violation of the LTF contract-ASK!! Ask a delegate, ask a union officer, ask someone before you act! To file a grievance, or settle a matter before it reaches that level, the issue should be discussed with your PAC team. The PAC team meets with the principal on a monthly basis. If there is no agreeable solution at that level, it will continue with the district PABC team, which consists of your Union's first vice presidents and the president of the Union. The team will meet with the Superintendent of Schools, and if a solution is not reached at that point, a grievance can be filed. If you are unsure about anything, PLEASE ASK!

Your job as a building delegate is to bring information back from the Delegates Meetings and hold meetings within your building to pass along the information. These meetings should be held monthly.
